Self Service B.I.
|
|
You understand your business far better than anyone else and as such any Business Intelligence solution should allow for the rapid creation of reports and content that will be focused to your immediate needs.
Having a B.I. solution that requires extended wait time whilst a new reporting requirement is designed, developed and published will quickly loose its appeal and result in the use of less managed ad-hoc solutions being implemented to fill the void.
Microsoft SharePoint Server provides the ability to quickly generate and publish new content using technologies such a SQL Server Report Builder and Excel Services that empower the business user to create their own content and publish it to the required audiences via the managed environment of the corporate portal.
With the advent of Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Microsoft Office 2010 and SQL Server 2008 R2, the new PowerPivot tool allows for the manipulation and presentation of information from huge data sets which would previously only have been possible be implementing a major data warehousing architecture.
Myriad Technologies can assist you in choosing and implementing the appropriate tool (or tools) to allow your organisations B.I. environment to be a responsive and proactive as the business practices it reports on. |
