For about the last five years, Myriad Technologies has offered a managed services program, which sees us provide proactive monitoring and maintenance of SharePoint environments for our valued clients.
When one of Australia's largest port authorities, North Queensland Bulk Ports (NQBP), approached us with issues including a lack of internal support capabilities, we saw this as an opportunity to not only improve their situation, but supply a range of further benefits too.
Myriad Technologies worked through NQBP's challenges with them via a series of workshops to establish precisely what they required, which resulted in a clear goal: the need for a highly responsive, long-term support option.
Managed services met this need, and still does today.
NQBP chief information officer Bruce Fisher said: "during the whole development of our intranet, over the years we've had it, and through the different iterations and changes we've made, Managed Services have made those changes very fluid and easy to manage".
