The final two O365 Saturdays are almost here
11 Sep, 2017 | Sophie Blackshaw

There are only two remaining O365 Saturday events remaining in 2017, meaning there are only two more opportunities to catch senior consultant Roger Carran's presentation on Dynamics 365.

So far, Roger's presentation – titled Mind blown: the Dynamite Dynamics 365 Experience – has been received positively and with curiosity by Office 365 users all around Australia.

"Turnout has been great. Every session I seem to have more people coming along," Roger said.

"Dynamics is gaining so much momentum in the Office365/Cloud space, it's great to see so many people interested in it."

Roger said attendance and engagement in Perth, Sydney and Brisbane was great, but Adelaide saw the largest turnout, with a full room.

"I have always loved Dynamics and the possibilities that come with it. [I chose to] present on it to show everyone it's just another app in the toolkit for organisations. It can integrate with all other Office 365 services, has great mobile presence, and can be customised to fit almost any requirement," Roger explained.

"I'm a big advocate for 'right technology for the right challenge', so Dynamics fits the business process automation space perfectly (plus other areas!)."

Roger has already committed to Office 365 Saturday in 2018. He said the best aspects of going to the free vents are, without doubt, the community interactions.

"Seeing what others are doing in their areas, and also being able to generate that 'lightbulb' moment for attendees – someone may have a specific issue or challenge with their current environment, and being able to help them solve/surmount that issue is really gratifying. It makes for great sessions.

You can still attend the Melbourne O365 on September 16, and the Canberra leg on October 28.

"I encourage everyone to get involved! It really is one of those events that gets better with more people interacting. Join in via Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and all the other social media channels."
